I had just joined this site, and I am a fan of Aragorn. Here is a link to my photobucket with pictures of Aragorn/Viggo. If you see any that you like, that them.

Is it just me, or are there others out there that are bothered by the movie A Perfect Murder I like the movie and Viggo is great in it....but it really bothers me when he gets killed. Guess it's because he's SUCH a good actor it does really look like he's dying and it messes with me, it messes with me so much I can't watch the movie at all now.

Anyone out that get freaked out by that or is it just me?

Subject:Crimson Tide

Mood: impressed.
It dawned on me today as I was sitting here waiting for my DSL to start working again, that I have a copy of Crimson Tide so I pulled it out and watched it again.

Viggo is so good at internalizing the character he is portraying and the director of this film really did a good job at recognizing that with the close-ups of Viggo's face as he goes through the difficulties of being an officer on board a submarine and being a friend. It was heartwrenching for me to see him have to decide what he was going to do and how when he finally made his decision at the end, he stuck by his convictions until someone else's life was at stake. You could see all that in his face, especially his eyes.

There aren't that many actors out there who can draw me in the way he does just with his eyes.

I am at work and our system is down, so I figured it was seriously time for some goofing off.

Hello, my name is Louise and I am here.

Can anyone think of an actor they respect more than Mr. Mortenson here? I've read some interesting interviews and I think he's an ... original.

Mood: stressed.
I spent most of yesterday offline because the phone company was having problems ... something about a cable going out that they needed to replace. So I spent the day watching the two Extra Features DVDs from the Special Edition of FofR and GI Jane.

I hadn't seen GI Jane since it first came out way back when but when we were at Walmart on Monday night, I found a copy for $5.99. It didn't take long to remember the show and Viggo's part in it. The man has a great set of legs. :)

I still haven't decided on whether or not I should do a full-blown Viggo web site or not. There are some really good ones out there already and the most I could do right now would be screen captures from FofR and GI Jane. I might do those if I get bored.

I did get a couple yesterday while playing around and they are at http://www.woolfden.net/itsviggo/page1.html

I'm using the stressed icon today only because I'm still on dialup. After being on DSL for a year, going back to dialup for just a week while the new modem arrives has been a royal pain. Hopefully it will get here today and I can really start working on the web again.

There's an interview with Viggo at http://www.startribune.com/stories/389/3563608.html if anyone is interested. It sounds like we have Viggo's son Henry to thank for getting to see him (Viggo in The Lord of the Rings).

Subject:This be new ...
Posted by:bdwoolf.
Time:6:18 pm.
Mood: enthralled.
I'll be the first to admit that I'm new to the Viggo Mortensen/Aragorn/Strider fan base. What drew me to him was what you see here ... his eyes. Of course eyes have always drawn me in and they are the first thing that a lot of people look at when they first meet you. It's cliche but his eyes are windows to the soul. The eyes I've highlighted here are windows to the soul of Aragorn and that is how excellent an actor Viggo Mortensen is.

So welcome to my little community. I hope you'll join me in celebrating the actor, Viggo Mortensen, the poet, the painter, the man.
